Daily Bible Readings Schedule
The schedule for our daily Bible readings can be found here. The schedule is based on five days on, then two days off.
It will take about five minutes each day to read that day’s scheduled reading. The devotionals will take an additional five minutes to read. Depending on how quickly you read … and contemplate what you’re reading, your time will vary from day to day.
Don’t feel rushed. Listen to your Father.
He wants to speak to you and change you from the inside-out.
On days when we have readings scheduled, you will see a devotional for that day’s Bible readings posted here on the Devotionals page. But on the days off, you can use your time to catch up on any days’ readings you’ve missed. If you’re caught up, feel free to read the “Proverb of the Day”. There are thirty-one Proverbs in the Bible, so with Proverbs of the Day, look at the date and read that numbered Proverb. For instance, on January 6, you could read Proverb 6; or on January 14, you could read Proverb 14.
If you’re a little more motivated, you might try the Psalm of the Day. This plan takes you through the Psalms each month by reading five Psalms each day. You can print that plan here.
Remember that your goal in reading the Bible is not to check a box, stating that you have completed the task of Bible reading. The goal of reading the Bible is to encounter God in His Word so that you can know Him better and love Him more.
